Blurb: A hapless imugi is determined to attain the form of a full-fledged dragon and gain entry to the gates of heaven. For a long time, things don't go well. Then, it meets a girl.

Review: This is the first short story not part of an anthology that I've read in a loooong time. It's reminded me of what I've been missing out on, and that it's possible to pack plenty of emotion and story within only a couple dozen pages. Perseverance and perspective are important traits that even creatures of myth need reminders and help with. This story is a recommend to everyone, and with universal certainty will draw out a smile while reading.
