Blurb: A half-remembered children’s TV show. A hotel that shouldn’t exist. A mysterious ballad. A living flag. A group of girls goes camping.
Review: This will be my first ever review of a book that I did not finish. I simply couldn't get into it. It had a bit more overt horror vibes than I generally prefer. I'm also making more of an active effort to try and read short stories so maybe there was an element of me forcing myself into something non-standard?. Those reasons still feel insufficient for explaining why I stopped reading this though..... The first story was engaging enough, and despite not being exactly my thing, it would usually have been good enough for me to continue. Regardless, this book has successfully challenged me on how true this website should be for tracking what I've "read", and after substantial idiotic deliberation, I've decided to add it.
