Book 2: Rise of a Merchant Prince

Book 3: Rage of a Demon King

Book 4: Shards of a Broken Crown

Blurb: (From Book 1) Feist, author of the Riftwar Saga, embarks on a new series, returning to the magical twin worlds of Kelewan and Midkemia to begin the story of the Serpent War Saga. Two unlikely heroes are destined to oppose the malign forces that threaten their lives and the survival of their world.

Review: I truthfully cannot remember this series too well as I read it in an absolute binge. It is technically a self-contained series, but I wouldn't recommend reading it without reading The Riftwar Saga (see Magician) as it builds on the same universe with a new generation of characters.

If you're even considering reading this, then I think you've enjoyed the previous books, so you can expect more of the same. There is a small drop in quality compared to The Empire Trilogy and The Riftwar Saga, but the series is still solid. I do remember loving Erick and Roo as characters, and how good of a stand-alone installment Rise of a Merchant Prince is.
